离离原上草Boundless grasses over the plain



一岁一枯荣Come and go with every season;



野火烧不尽Wildfire never quite consumes them --



春风吹又生They are tall once more in the spring wind.



远芳侵古道Sweet they press on the old high- road



晴翠接荒城And reach the crumbling city-gate....



又送王孙去O Prince of Friends, you are gone again....



萋萋满别情I hear them sighing after you
