| At Rest Don Quixote's New Plans When Don Quixote was well enough to travel, he left Barcelona. Riding only a few miles each day, he at last reached his own village. The news had arriv ed before him, and when he went into his house he found all his friends waiting for him. During his travels, Don Quixote had met some young people who enjoyed acting like shepherds. After he had bee n beaten by the Knight of the Moon, he thought it would be nice to become a shepherd. He could spend a year looking after his sheep, singing simple songs for Dulcinea and writing her name on trees. He told the priest , the barber and Samson Carrasco about this new plan. They thought that it would be a very healthy life and praised the plan.
