Pair work is when the teacher divides the whole class into pairs. Every student works with their partner and all the pairs work at the same time.
It is not the same as public pair work – where pairs speak in turn in front of the class.
Pair work is a way of organising your class. It can be used for many different kinds of activity, and is naturally more suitable for some activites than for others.
