| Teachers are, at times, rather impatient with their pupils' learning. Very often, teachers say "But I've taught the Simple Present, how come the children can't use it correctly?" The answer may not be in the teacher's activities but in the children's nature. Children need opportunities to revise what they've done. They need time to let new concepts sink in and stay. You may see pupils grasping new language quickly and using it correctly on the day you've taught it. However, the next day they may have forgotten it. After a few days, with the teacher's help, they may seem to be able to use the language correctly again. So, why do children forget their lessons?
