| Drilling is an effective and very controlled form of practice that students and teachers feel comfortable doing. There is a familiarity in the group with the material and student confidence rises as they hear everyone else saying the same as them. Repetition is good for enforcing new language as well as revision of previouslylearned phrases. Drills do not always need to be teacher centred and students will feel more empowered if they take charge of a drill practice. |
