学生也许能记住很多很多单词，但是他们不知道什么时候用以及如何发音，这也是没有用的。学习生词并不只是简单的读一系列的单词或记忆词典的某些词条。应该在上下文中学习生词。

Translating vocabulary should be kept to a minimum. Though translation is easy if you know the students' native language, not all words can be translated directly from one language to another and vocabulary taught in this way is often easily forgotten. There are many different ways of presenting new vocabulary that can help students learn and remember new words.
