  Activity 2 Vocabulary presentation

Put the pictures of the five animals and five word cards on the board.  Ask if any children can match the words to the pictures.  Ask them to come to the board to do it.

OK.  Who can help me match the words with the pictures.  Good.  Come up here to the board to help.

将五张动物图片和五张单词卡片贴在黑板上。问哪位同学能将单词卡片与动物图片进行正确匹配。让学生到黑板前来做这个游戏。

  Activity 3 Matching game

Divide the class into groups of four.  Give each group word cards and picture cards for the ten animals learned so far in this unit: bird, cat, dog, mouse, duck, elephant, panda, kangaroo, monkey, bear.
Ask them to mix the cards and put them face down on the desk.
They can then take it in turns to turn over two cards.  If they match a picture and a word correctly, they score a point.  When all the cards are matched, the winner is the child with the most points.

This game is best explained in Chinese or demonstrated using the game in our downloadable ppt.

  活动3:匹配游戏

将全班同学分成 四组。将到目前为止学到的十种动物的图片与单词卡片,分发给每一组: bird, cat, dog, mouse, duck, elephant, panda, kangaroo, monkey, bear.
让学生们将卡片打乱次序后扣放在桌子上。
学生可轮流将卡片翻开两张。如果学生将图片与单词匹配成功,他们就得一分。当所有的图片与卡片都匹配好后,谁得分最多,谁就是胜利者。
这个游戏最好用汉语解释,或是在可下载的PPT里有示范演示。

  Activity 4 Guessing Game

Use the animal cards.  First demonstrate the game to the class with a student(you can prepare a student to do this).  Ask the student to pick a card. 
Now ask the student questions using the structure: Can it .........  . 
The student should answer with the structure: Yes it can/No it can't.

Next play the game with other students from the class asking the questions.

Let's play a game.  Lanlan, can you come and help me.  Pick a card.  OK now answer some questions about the animal and I will guess what it is.
Can it jump?
Can it hunt?

  
  活动4:猜测游戏

用动物卡片。首先教师与一位同学演示这个游戏(教师可预先准备好让一个同学来做)让一位同学拿起一张卡片。 
现在用句型:Can it ......... 向学生提问。 
学生应该用句型 : Yes it can/No it can't来回答。

第二,与班里其它同学玩此游戏时问这些问题:

Let's play a game.  Lanlan, can you come and help me?  Pick a card.  OK now answer some questions about the animal and I will guess what it is.
Can it jump?

  Activity 5 Mime game

Use picture cards (duck, mouse, dog, cat, bird, elephant, panda, kangaroo, monkey, bear).
First demonstrate to the whole class by picking a picture card and an action card and then miming the animal doing the action.  The class must guess what you are and what you are doing.

Let's play the game we played in the last lesson.
I'm going to pick a picture card and an action card and look at them.
Now I'm going to mime the animal on the card doing the action.
Can you guess what I am and what I'm doing?
Well done.

Now pick one student to come to the front to do it.

OK.  Can someone help me.  Come to the front.  Pick a card.  OK now mime the animal.  Can you guess what animal it is?

The class has to guess the animal and the action using the structure: it's a ........ hunting.

  
  活动5:模仿游戏

用图片(duck, mouse, dog, cat, bird, elephant, panda, kangaroo, monkey, bear).
首先教师向全班做演示:拿起一张图片和一张写有动作的卡片,然后模仿这个动物做这个动作。全班同学要猜出 教师演示是什么动物及动作。

Let's play the game we played in the last lesson.
I'm going to pick a picture card and an action card and look at them.
Now I'm going to mime the animal on the card doing the action.
Can you guess what I am and what I'm doing?
Well done.

现在选一个同学到黑板前来做这个游戏。

OK.  Can someone help me.  Come to the front.  Pick a card.  OK now mime the animal.  Can you guess what animal it is?
