I (Miss Wang and Sherry are at a bookstore.)
Sherry：          Fúwùyuán, zhèi běn shū duōshao qián？
                    服务员，这本书多少钱？
                     How much is the book?
shop assistant: Sānshíbā kuài.
　　　　　　  三十八块。
                     Thirty-eight yuan.
Miss Wang:      Sānshíbā kuài, tài guì le.
　　　　　　   三十八块，太贵了。
                      Thirty-eight yuan! It's too expensive.
Sherry： 　　　Néng bu néng piányi diǎn？
　　　　　　　能不能便宜点？
   　　　　　　 Can you give me a lower price?
shop assistant:  Kěyǐ, dàn zuì dī zhǐ néng jiǔ zhé .
　　　　　　   可以，但最低只能九折。
                      Sure, ten percent off lowest. 
Sherry： 　　　Jiǔ zhé, jiù shì......
　　　　 　　　九折，就是......
    　　　 　　 Ten percent off. That is...
shop assistant: Sānshísì kuài èr.
　　　　　　    三十四块二。
                      Thirty-four yuan and two jiao. 

Sherry：           Ò, háishì tài guì le.
　　　　           哦，还是太贵了。
                       Oh, it's still expensive.

Ⅱ (At a vender's.)

Customer: Lǎobǎn, zhèige duōshao qián？
　　　　　老板，这个多少钱？
      　　   Excuse me, sir. How much is this?
Vender:   Yibǎiwǔ.
　　　　 一百五。
              A hundred and fifty.
Customer: Tài guì le, piányi yìdiǎn ba.
　　　　  太贵了，便宜一点吧！
               It's too expensive. Can I have a lower price?
Vender:    Zuì dī yìbǎi.
　　　  　最低一百。
               A hundred yuan lowest.
Customer: Bāshí ba.
　　　　　八十吧。
               How about eighty?
Vender:   Bù xíng, bù xíng.
　　　 　不行，不行。
               Sorry.
Customer: Wǒmen bú yào le, zǒu ba.
　　　　　我们不要了，走吧。
               We don't want it. Let's go then.
