我从成都出发去四姑娘山。上午7：30从成都发车，下午4点左右，车子在大雨中翻过了巴朗山，一路向下，很快便到了嵌在山谷中的日隆镇。这个嘉绒藏族世代聚居的小镇因四姑娘山而出名、而繁荣、而喧嚣，无数的游客把财富和现代文明带到这个小镇的同时，也带走了小镇人宁静的生活，这不知是小镇之幸抑或不幸？

I headed for Mount Siguniang from Chengdu. The bus started off at 7:30 in the morning. The car climbed over Mount Balang in a big rain and at 4 in the afternoon we arrived at the town of Rilong located in a valley. This little town is mostly inhabited by people of Tibetan nationality, and has become famous, prosperous and bustling because of Mount Siguniang. Tourism has brought a huge amount of wealth and modern civilization to this small place and at the same time took away its peace. Whether this was fortune or misfortune I could tell.

        清早起来，天有些阴，雾很重，心里便有些担心会看不到四姑娘山。按原定计划，先去了长坪沟。到了二道坪的时候，远处的天渐渐露出了蓝色，雾气虽然仍恋恋不舍的萦绕在山腰，太阳却已悄悄地把光芒投向了山顶。向导说，今天会是个好天气，心中窃喜。

I woke up in the early morning. It was cloudy and foggy outside. I was afraid that I might not be able to see Mount Siguniang. According to our schedule we went to Changping Valley first. On our way to Erdaoping, the sun came out and the sky cleared up. Although the fog was still lingering around the hillside, the top of the mountain was already bathed in the sunshine. I chuckled to myself when the tour guide told us it would be a good day.

       骑马在原始森林中穿越，路上异常泥泞，四周密林蔽日。正走得有些郁闷，突然眼前一亮，一座雪山跃然眼前，山脚云雾蒸腾，气势不凡。向导说，这是猎人峰。

We managed to get some horses to ride through the primitive forest. The path was extremely muddy and luxuriant trees shut out the sun. I felt boring of this scene when suddenly a snow mountain leaped out in front of me and caught all my attention. A thick mist was wafting around the foot of the mountain, giving it a much imposing appearance. The guide said it was called the Hunter Peak.

        再往前走，过了两河口、红石阵、木摞子，来到一块高地，眼前豁然开朗，传说中的木摞子草原到了。这里是一片一望无际的高山草甸，两边群山夹峙，猎人峰与四姑娘山遥遥相对，一条清澈美丽的小河流过草甸，把这里变成了水草丰美的高原牧场，马和牦牛悠然自得的享受着这里的阳光和水草，毫不理会游人的惊叹。对于它们来说，这一切都是与生俱来的。

We passed through Lianghekou, Hongshizhen and Muluozi and finally came to an open highland called Muluozi Pasture. The view before us suddenly widened up. It was an alpine meadow stretching as far as the eye could see with its both sides enclosed by hills. Hunter Peak and Mount Siguniang stood opposite each other at a distance. A crystal stream cut through the meadow and made it a fertile pasture with plenty of water and lush grass. Horses and yaks were enjoying the sunshine and grazing there in a leisurely manner, ignoring the exclamations of surprise came out from the tourists. To them the beautiful scene was common to see.

        穿过这片草原，据说可以通向更加神秘美丽的毕棚沟和米亚罗，可惜我的脚步只能到此为止了。不顾高原的强紫外线，躺在草地上，眯缝着眼看天，痴痴的，这一刻，希望自己变成草原上的一朵野花。

It was said that if you travel across the pasture you could get to Bipeng Valley and Miyaluo which are said to be even more beautiful and mysterious. Unfortunately we had to stop here. I lay on the grass, looking up into the sky, and wished I were a wild flower growing in the grassland.

        长坪沟里的水都由雪山溶化而来，千年来，一直这么奔流不息着，汇入山下的岷江，再投入长江的胸怀，直到注入每个炎黄子孙的血脉。这水养育了万物生灵，她是有情的，所以美丽。

The melting snow from the mountain top has provided water for the river in Changping Valley for thousands of years. The river first flows into the Minjiang River, then into the big arms of the Yangtze River, and into the vein of every Chinese. The water has nourished a lot of living things on its way eastward. It is beautiful since it is full of love.

        回到喇嘛庙时，忽然听见有人惊呼："快看，四姑娘出来了！"回头一望，顿时惊艳。一座皎洁无比的玉峰伫立在天边，以蓝天为幕，以白云为衣，惊艳登场。四姑娘果然多情，怜我不远千里来相会，虽朦胧羞涩，仍一展芳容。

As we arrived at the Lama Temple, someone exclaimed suddenly: "Wow, look, the Mount Siguniang has come out!" I looked back and was immediately dazzled by the beautiful scenery. The mountain, clothed by clouds, stood gracefully against the background of the azure sky, presenting an amazing pose. I thought to myself, perhaps the Mount Siguniang considered I had come all this way to see her, so she showed her affectionate beauty to me behind a haze.
