最近哈佛耶鲁等一些世界名校在网上公布的公开课视频受到了中国大学生和白领们的热烈追捧，点击率节节攀升。这些网络公开课内容广泛，从历史、政治、科学到伦理道德，无所不有。在哈佛的网站上光是对这些课程的介绍就用了一千多页。白领们疯狂下载自己感兴趣的课件，为自己充电；一些大学生则欢呼道：以前上课爱逃课，现在爱 "淘"课。

Recently, some world-famous universities, including Harvard and Yale, have publicized films of their courses on line, which are passionately supported by Chinese college students and white collars, making the click rate of these online videos keep rising. These open courses cover a wide range of subjects, from history to politics and from science to ethics. On the website of Harvard University, over 1,000 pages are contributed to the introduction of the courses alone. The white collars download a large amount of videos they find interest in so to get themselves recharged with new knowledge, while some university students cheer by saying " In the past we used to "逃课(táokè)"(skip classes), but now we are used to "淘课(táokè)"(searching for classes online)".

       世界名校曾经给人的感觉是遥不可及，但是现在只要有网络，足不出户你就可以享受到世界名校里最牛的教授所讲的课啦。

Previously people thought these prestigious schools were beyond their reach. But now they can enjoy classes given by the first-class professors in the elite universities without even leaving your home only if they can get on line.

       国内很多学校和专家也已经注意到了这种网络课程的优势。如果中国的高等院校也能发布这样的网络课程，不仅可以给学生更多的选择，也是对大众文化传播普及的一种贡献。也许在不久的将来，中国的名校也能走向世界，走向大家。

Many schools and experts in China also have noticed the advantages of on-line courses. If institutes of higher education in China can also publicize their excellent course on line, not only can more students get benefited, but it is also an effective way to spread and popularize the knowledge to the mass. Maybe in the near future, the prestigious Chinese schools can also go global and go to everyone.
