In this exercise we will learn about various words and expressions to do with anger. Some are formal and others informal or slang. We will also look at some idiomatic expressions. They express various degrees of anger from the relatively mild, cross or displeased to the serious fury when a person loses his temper.

Formal:
1. I am rather cross with you for drinking all the orange juice in the fridge.
2. She is very angry with me for spilling wine on her new dress.
3. My father is absolutelyfurious because I crashed his new car.
4. It's infuriating having to waste all this time rewriting my essay.
5. A hostile work environment is very unpleasant.
6. Jake smashed his glass in a fit of rage.
