This lesson plan helps students learn the vocabulary necessary to describe the place where they live. Is it a big city or a small town? Is it crowded or not? Are the streets narrow? Etc.

In this lesson students will compare a small town and a city by describing the differences. There is a word activity that students can do with the aid of a dictionary if they should need to practise their dictionary skills. And there are a couple of different worksheets that can be done either individually or in pairs.
