总统家是什么样子呢？The white building is not very big, but it is very clean. Ella visited many places of in the White House. Some rooms there have interesting names, such as: Green Room, Blue Room and Red Room.
另外，白宫里还有个"China Room"呢！咦，白宫里怎么会有"中国屋"呢？哈哈，原来这个房间放的都是一些精美的瓷器。瓷器的英文就是china哦！
是布什总统邀请我们参观白宫的吗？No. In fact, everybody can visit it. And, luckily, it's free of charge. Do you want to see it for yourself? Visiting time is from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm.You can go there any day from Tuesday to Saturday.
不过得记住，参观需要预约哦！

中国的国旗是五星红旗，上面有5颗金色的星星。Look at the national flag of the US.
How many stars are there on it? One, two... oh, fifty stars all together.
50颗星！美国国旗上为什么有这么多星星呢？原来这50颗星代表着美国的50个州。在带星星的各国国旗中，美国国旗上的星星是最多的。

Do you know this beautiful bird? Its name is bald eagle.
也就是美国秃鹰。其实它一点儿也不秃，只不过头顶长了白毛而已。所以，人们又叫它白头海雕。It is the national bird of the US. 美国国徽上还有它的身影呢！尽管贵为国鸟，秃鹰却差点绝种，是不是很荒唐啊！

白宫不远处是高耸入云的华盛顿纪念碑。The famous Washington Monument is 169.3 metres high. It is the highest building in the city. It is completely made of stone. Can tourists get to its top? Yes. 乘电梯就能到达纪念碑的顶部。You can watch the whole city from up there.
