Ss: Yes.
T: Class begins.
Ss: Good afternoon, Mr Lin.
T: Good afternoon, boys and girls.
T: I want to know something about you. Who can answer my questions?
T: What is your name? (Ask one student.)
S1:My name is ….
T: What’s the weather like today?
S1:It is ….
T: When is your birthday?

T: I want to have a birthday party for you .Would you like to join us?
Ss: Yes , we’d love to.
T: I think if you go to the party, you’ll have a great time.

Step Two: New words and drills
1. Present the new words
T: I have a piece of good news. Our school will have a party. I will wear jeans to the party. What’s the meaning of “jeans”?
S1: 牛仔裤
(Show a picture of a pair of jeans on the screen.)
T: Yes, that’s right. Read after me, jeans-jeans.
T: For example: a pair of jeans, wear jeans. But if I wear jeans to the party, the teacher won’t let me in. What’s the meaning of “let… in”?
(Show let…in 允许……进入 on the screen.)
T: At the party, I will
organize the party games. I’m sure you will like them and have a great time. What’s the meaning of “organize”?
S1: “组织”.
(Show “organize”组织on the screen)
T: Yes, you’re right. Read after me ,organize- organize.
Ss: Organize-organize.
T: For example,
organize the party (games).

2. Present the new drills “If you do …, you will do …
T: It will be sunny tomorrow.
(Show a picture of the sun )
T: We will have a trip tomorrow.
(Show a picture of the trip.)
T: So we can say: We will have a trip if it is sunny tomorrow.
(Put the two sentences together.)
T: Next I often get up at 8:00 on weekends. When do you get up?
S1: I get up at 9:00.
T: What will happen if you get up at 9:00 on weekdays?
S1: If I get up at 9:00, I will be late.
T: What will happen if you are late.
S1: If I am late, the teacher will be angry with me.
T: What will happen if the teacher is angry with you?
S1: If the teacher is angry with me, I will be sad.
T: Who can know the rule?

T: In if
clause we can use the Simple Present Tense, and we can use the
Future Tense in main clause.
3. Practice the drills
