Teaching procedures:
1.Tell students to read the comic strip.then ask some questions to check understanding。
What did Eddie do?(He ate Hobo's food.)
Why?(Because he was hungry.)
How has Eddie changed?(Before, he was kind.)
How has Hobo changed?(Before, he always wanted to play with Eddie.)
2.Talk about other types of changes,e.g.,
lifestyles,changes between
primary and
secondary schools,places,buildings and the environment.Ask whether students like changes generally, or whether there are
good changes and bad changes.
3. Ask students to open their books at page 3 Read the following sentences and ask students to guess which mode of
transport you are describing

5. Ask students to write in the names of the forms of
transport under the pictures
6. Ask students to look at the timeline in Part B Tell them to write in the names of the forms of
transport on the correct point on the timeline.
7 Homework
