| | It totally surprised me at the first sight of motorbikes parked in a line in the middle of a road. How funny! You can never see motorbikes parked like this in the middle of a road in China. There is a section in the middle of the road just for motorbikes. That road in the picture is a slope. London is not nearly as flat as Beijing. The motorbike drivers seem crazy when driving on roads at a terribly high speed, but they obeytraffic regulations very well. So don't worry about safety on roads! | |
| | I arrived at Buckingham Palace late in the afternoon. It was already closing time. Even so lots of tourists gathered there taking photos. A girl first asked the two guards if she could take a photo with them and they agreed. So I also got the opportunity. I told them they would be well-known in China, and that taller guard joked that they would be famous all over the world. You see they cooperated with me quite willingly in the photo-taking. What a lovely memory! |
