College Graduates Work as Village
Officials
There is no denying
the fact that it is a hotly debated
topic(热烈讨论的话题)today that some college graduates chose to work as
village officials. Does anyone hold the same attitude towards this
phenomenon? Definitely not. Actually, people opinions
differ sharply
(明显的不同).
Some
maintain that this is a wise choice. By
putting theoretical
knowledge into practice
(学以致用)and introducing new concepts to the countryside
and speed the development of rural areas, thus college graduates can narrow down the gap between town
and countryside.(缩减城乡差距). However, some hold the opposite idea. They argue that
working as a village official is nothing but an escape from pressures
(逃避压力). The relaxed and
casual way of life in
countryside (放松和休闲的生活方式)can often free them
form
(使...免于)stresses from intense
competition(激烈的竞争),heavy traffic, housing problems and so forth.
For my part, the merits of village officials
outweigh its demerits. (利大于弊) While too many college graduates are struggling to
survive in big
cities,(挣扎地生存)
these graduates can find themselves a broad
career development space/
an excellent opportunity for
career advancement
(更大的发展空间). Moreover, college graduates can also contributes a lot to the
development of rural
areas (农村地区). In conclusion,college graduates
working as village officials is
a win-win
(双赢)choice and more graduates should be encouraged to
work in the countryside.
