秦朝末年，有个叫季布的人。他喜欢帮助别人，受到了很多人的赞扬。他有个特点：只要他答应了的事情，不论困难多大，他就算倾家荡产，也会想办法做好。因此他的朋友非常多。

Later, because someone pled mercy for him, Liu Bang pardoned him and gave him an official position.

A man named Cao Qiusheng wanted to make friends with Ji Bu. But Ji Bu annoyed him very much. Cao Qiusheng was not angry and said to Ji Bu, "You know we are fellow villagers. People often said, 'It is worth getting Ji Bu's promise than a thousand gold'. It is the result that I advocate for you all around. So why you always turned down me?" Ji Bu was very happy when he heard Cao Qiusheng's words and changed his attitude to treat him as a guest of honor.
