The elder sibling should show the younger family members great love.
And the younger ones should show respect.
I will behave well with my brothers and sisters as this is a crucial part of family life.
If everyone values harmony above possession then resentment is avoided
If everyone is careful with their choice of words then upsets are quickly resolved
When people get together then the younger ones should ask the elderly to
Eat first, take their seats first and walk ahead.
If an elderly person calls for someone then I will hurry to find that person or offer my help instead.
I should show respect to the elderly by using their family name and title,
I should be modest and not show off my skills and talents unless asked to
When meeting an elderly person on the road, I will quickly and respectfully introduce myself
If he does not wish to talk I will give way and wait by the side.
If I am on a horse or carriage I should get down and offer them a ride.
When they are moving away I should remain still until they are out of sight.
I should not sit before the elders are seated
But wait until they sit and ask me to.
I will speak gently but not too quietly, so that they can easily hear me.
When meeting elderly people I should approach quickly but leave slowly.
I will stand when answering a question, and keep eye contact when we are talking.
It is good to show the same respect and care to uncles and aunts as I do to my parents
And have the same friendship with relatives as with my brothers and sisters.
