With the three wins on Wednesday, Hillary Clinton's campaign has got a fresh lease of life. Political pundits and even some of her beleaguered campaign staff had indicated that if today went off badly, it would have been all but over for her.

By her wins, she broke Barack Obama's momentum of 12 straight victories.

The fight between them has been bitter and ugly, and some Democrat seniors have said they are worried that this fight might end up helping the Republicans who have a clear nominee.

The Democrats are under pressure to not draw out this fight much longer.

A super comeback by Hillary Clinton especially when her political obituary was already being written, her big wins in Ohio and Texas mean her campaign is back on track.

''For everyone here in Ohio and across America who has ever been counted out, but refused to be knocked out. For everyone who has stumbled but stood right back up and for everyone who works hard and never gives up, this one is for you,'' said Hillary Clinton, Democratic presidential hopeful.

Though Hillary Clinton's campaign got a much needed boost, in terms of numbers Obama still has the lead, but most analysts believe this contest will go down to the wire.

''We've won the state of Vermont and so we want to say thank you to the people of Vermont. And we know this, no matter what happens tonight we have nearly the same delegate lead as we did this morning and we are on our way to winning this nomination,'' said Barack Obama, Democratic presidential hopeful.

On the Republican side, John McCain became the party's presidential candidate by surpassing the requisite 1,191 delegates needed, as his rival Mike Huckabee has bowed out.
