DAQING, July 12 (Xinhua)-- The Beijing Olympic torch relay concluded in Daqing, northernmost province Heilongjiang on Saturday morning.

Gu Shuangyan, an excellent judge of Daqing intermediate people's court, lit the cauldron at the square in front of municipal government of Daqing city at 10:00 a.m..

Daqing, China's largest oil-field, was the second stop of the sacred flame's three-day leg in Heilongjiang Province.

The relay got underway at 8:20a.m. despite rainfall and ranges 7.6 kilometers with 208 torchbearers.

The torch will leave for the next stop Qiqihar, the second largest city of Heilongjiang, a city famous for being home to red-crowned crane.
