BEIJING, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- Dong Fangzhuo scored China's first ever Olympic men's soccer goal to make it 1-1 in Thursday's game against New Zealand in the Beijing Games.
Dong scored at the 88th minute to level Jeremy Brockie's 53rd minute goal.
The only other Chinese men's Olympic appearance was in the 1988 Seoul Games, where the Chinese suffered three straight losses without scoring.
