Marketing lies at the heart of managing a company. An entrepreneur must learn to create, disseminate and deliver customer values and manage customer relationships with regard to customer requirements. Marketing, as a field, has always fascinated me right since my undergraduate days. Furthermore, it gives me insight into the human influences on organizational behavior.
PERSONAL INFORMATION

Both of my parents are businessman; my father was mainly engaged in foreign trade, exporting cloths to Japan, US and other countries. My mother is a manager of one of the top 100 enterprises in China. As a daughter of businessman, I grew up around my parents, seeing and learning a lot which made me interested in business. They are my pride, especially for my mother, whenever she meets difficulty she always has a clear direction of enterprise development, and most of the staffs in her company regard her as a role model. My motivations to apply for this course are not only to become as successful as my mother but also out of my keen interest in this field.
EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Studying alone at the age of 11 provided me with opportunities to develop my independence and planning skills. Four years of college life, with two years in the University of Liverpool and two years learning in Xi'an Jiao tong-Liverpool University lay a solid foundation for my English. I am confident that there is no barrier for my study and communication. Meanwhile, the people in UK are enthusiastic and friendly, and I love learning here in the environment without constraints.
HONORS AND AWARDS

In terms of academic study, I always did well and achieved an average score of about 80 percent in the course of BSC Mathematics in the University of Liverpool last year, and I was offered scholarships with 1/3 of the tuition fee off during the university studies. In the four years of courses I have studied such as organizational behavior, Economics, financialmanagement and management accounting, helped me foster an original cognition about financial marketing and build upon my knowledge especially my analytical skills. With the purpose of learning the fundamentals of marketing, I also read the book about marketing management written by Philip Kotler. Therefore, I believe I am well
prepared to accept the challenges and I will make the greatest effort to learn better about marketing in the postgraduate study.
WORKING EXPERIENCE

For me, Knowledge is treasure but practice is the key to the treasure, so I spent a whole summer at DongPeng (China) limited company which is a sales-oriented enterprisemainly on dealing with the sale of tile, working as an intern in order to enrich my life after class. The job was very challenging as it was my first time to work as an events planer. Dealing with the plans which managers gave us gave me a deeper understanding of marketing. I observed and arranged some interesting and creative activities to attract the clients and then winkled customers into making purchases. Moreover, I gathered information and summarized the strengths and the weaknesses of the company's events compared with the rival firms' in the industry, hence providing some suggestions to maintain strong competitive advantages. Some of my advices had been accepted by the company and this encouraged me to work with more confidence. This practical experience greatly contributed to my learning as well as elevated my specialty. Additionally, it also enhanced my personal skills such as communication and team spirit. Besides, I worked in the HSBC in China as an outstandingassistant in the department of personal business.

At the moment I am a Dreamer. To become a Market Research Analyst is my ideal. After graduation, I want to find a job in an International company and plan to engage in market research. However, it requires me to enlarge my knowledge range of Consumer Behavior as well as Marketing Communications. For this reason, I want to pursue higher education and I believe that it will provide me with all the experience and knowledge I need in order to get a job successfully in the marketing industry.
