A helicopter flies over the car ferry Lisco Gloria as it burns in the Baltic Sea yesterday. The maritime emergencies center in Cuxhaven, Germany, said an explosionapparently occurred on the Lisco Gloria at about midnight. The Lithuanian-flagged ferry had more than 200 people on board and was traveling from the German port of Kiel to Klaipeda in Lithuania. German authorities said that all passengers and crew members had been rescued.
