(CRIENGLISH 2008-06-08 19:51:18)A railway section in Sichuan Province that was closed by a derailed train on Sunday morning has been reopened following emergency rescue work.
The railway section was declared reopened at 6:30pm on the same day, Xinhua news agency reports from the Railway Ministry.
The train derailed in Sichuan Province after being hit by a mountain rock slide on Sunday morning. One railway worker was killed and a cargo train driver was seriously injured.
The accident closed the 386-kilometer railway between Dazhou in northeast Sichuan and Chengdu, the provincial capital.
