Life reads like a poem, with love

with its rhythm and beat

it begins with innocent childhood

puppy love shines in our face



comes next the awkward adolescence

trying to be more mature and adaptable

love for our idol is hidden with passions and follies



then reaches a manhood of intense activities

busy profitting from experience and learning more

we take love from our relatives for granted



at middle age, with a slight easing of tension

be more tolerant and synical with mellowing character

passionate love becomes a luxury for us



now in the sunset of our life

at a age of peace, security, leisure and contentment

love is just a memory



finally life flickers out

we go into enternal sleep, never wake up again
