An old man lived in the country with his old wife. They never usaully went to town. But one day the old man needed to go to town. " Darling", he said to his old wife, " I need some new clothes.i need to go to town". " Can I come with you?", she asked. "No. The town is a bad place. I'll go alone." So the old man went to twon and his old wife stayed at home. When he arrived in the town, the old man walked around with his eyes wide open. It was his first visit. Everything was a new and strange experience. He went into a big building. He looked for the stairs. But all he saw was a metal door with letters and numbers above it ? G, 1, 2, 3 , 4, 5, 6. He stood and looked at this door. He counldn't understand it. An old woman came and stood beside him. She started looking at the metal door, too. Suddenly the metal door opened and the old woman inmediately walked through the door, in a box, like a cupboard. The door shut. There was a noise of machinery, and lights appeared behind the numbers.
