Christ! I made a long sigh and moved upstairs to the copy room. I hate making photocopies, especially on those fat stupid lousy analog copiers! Why don't they invest more money on our office equipment? We are doing international business and we are contacting people from all over the world everyday, yet we are using the most out-of-date machines to creat document, to communicate people, exchange ideas and so on. I never expected I could use a digital copier in the future until I saw a brand new one a couple of days ago. It is digital one!
Girls who work in the copy room were excited. They told me all the new functions the machine has. I was not excited at all, because I had been selling the most advanced digital copiers since 1998. I pointed out that the so-called digital copier doesn't even have a documentfeeder. That means I have to open the damned cover of the machine 20 times if I wanna make a copy of a 20-page document! It is also lack of automatic collating function. God, how am I gonna make 800 copies for this stupid document?
Had my secretary still worked for me, she would have quit the job! Who's willing to sit tight there and collect all the paper for the whole day?
No! I wonder since when my daily work turned to be like this. Except for translating and interpreting, I do nothing but these trivial tiny little things. Anyone in this world can do the job, provided he understands Chinese!
