Step1:呈现
1.向学生展示三幅图片(分别为大胖子、厌食症患者和健壮者的图片)
Ask: What does he/she look like? Why is he /she so fat/ thin? Is it healthy? 由学生回答后引出
今天的课题how to keep fit
2.讨论Kitty 和Daniel的日常饮食和生活方式。让学生用本单元前几节课所学的内容发表自己的观点。
Step2:听力
1.Say: Now we know Kitty is healthy. Daniel is not healthy. But he is changing now. Let’s learn something about Hu Wen. Do you know Hu Wen? She is a member of the Get Fit Club. Please open your books and turn to Page68. First Look at the questionnaire and read the questions and answers. I give you one minute. .
2.Listen to the tape twice and Ss finish the exercises.
3.Check out
4.Ask Ss pay attention to the useful expressions:(Read together)
1).How often do you exercise?
2) less than three times a week
3) three to six times a week
4)How long do you sleep every night?
5)more than 10 hours
6) 5-10 hours
7) walk to school= go to school on foot
5.Say: Let’s get Hu Wen’s score. How many points does Hu Wen get? Look at the table in Page 69. Pay attention to the yellow box. Do you have the answer now? How many points does Hu Wen get?学生回答。又问:Is Hu Wen healthy? Can you give her any advice? 学生回答.
Step3.Say: What about you? Are you healthy? Please count your own score. How many points do you get? Put a tick in the boxes on the right in Page 68.学生得出自己的成绩,然后互相评论所得分数,给出些建议。
Step4.学生活动 Is your partner healthy?
1.Let Ss use the questions in A4 to ask their partners. They should write down the answers.
2.Use the answers to finish A5
3.Ss give a report about their partner one by one
Step5 总结
Say: Now we know your partner is healthy. You are healthy. Hu Wen is healthy. And Kitty is healthy. But How can we keep healthy? Let’s talk about it? 学生争相回答总结出两点:Have a healthy diet and lifestyle; Keep doing exercise.然后展示分别两幅图片引出下面两点:Change bad habits and keep happy.
Step6 活动
用上面得出的结论来帮助布朗先生恢复健康。先给出材料然后让学生小组讨论。材料如下:Mr. Brown is very fat. He never exercises. And he smokes a lot. He doesn’t feel well recently. His doctor tells him he should change his diet and lifestyle and lose his weight. Can you help him? Please help him make a list of three meals and the activities in a week.
学生先讨论出一日三餐。然后在帮助布朗先生指定一星期内的锻炼活动。
Step7 Homework
把布朗先生的新的日常饮食和生活方式写成作文(60字左右)
Step8 Say:OK, It’s time for lunch. There is much food for you. Are they delicious? What do you want to have for lunch today?
Have a good lunch! Good-bye!
