Step 1. Leading-in of the title
The teacher can create a situation that she cannot find her keys. In the process of looking for them, lead out the title of Unit 4 “Where is my backpack?”
Step 2. Leading-in of the words
Tell the students that on the way to classroom she gets something beautiful and say she would like to share them with the students in class. (Those are some colorful cards.) Firstly, show the pictures and ask: “What’ this?” and get the students to answer: “It’s a/an…” and later ask: “what color is it?” “It’s…” (By doing this, students
review what they
learned before ) and help students to know some new words and the pronunciation. Secondly, turn the pictures to the other side , spell the words and show the right way of
writing words in four-line grips. (By this way , the teacher set a good example of writing)

Then ask one student to take place to be the officer. In the process, if the officer said “Li Lei, put your book in the desk” just Li Lei does the action, others keep still or “ Girls, put your pencils on your book” boys should keep still.
