Section A
1.(1)教师出示课前准备好的各种类型的电影海报或者电影碟片,引入新话题。
T: Do you watch movies?
Look, I have many kinds of movies here. What kinds of movie are they? (依次出示海报或碟片)
What kind of movie is this?
It is a comedy/documentary/thriller/an action movie.
(2)教师板书新词汇和句型,教读。
(3)教师把刚才出示的物品打乱顺序再和学生问答(T→Ss/ ...然后Ss→Ss)。注意纠正发音。然后要求学生看书,完成1a的练习。
2.播放录音,要求学生做1b的听力练习,订正。
3.(1)T: Do you want to see a movie?
Do you want to go to a movie?
: Yes, I do.
T: Do you want to see a thriller?
: No, I don’t.

教师板书句型,要求学生操练对话。检查学生对话。

教师板书画线句子,强调连词and和but,分别表示并列和转折。
9.看书3a,要求学生填出横线上所缺的连词。
10.教师示范将某个学生写的两个句子改写成第三人称。
eg: I like comedies and I like thrillers.
→ likes comedies and she likes thrillers.
I like comedies but I don’t like documentaries.
→ likes comedies but she doesn’t like documentaries.
要求学生和同桌相互交换第8步写的句子,并将其改写成第三人称。
11.做3b练习,要学生看书3a,仿照图中所给对话,用第三人称描述4个人物。引入生词opera,Beijing Opera。
12.看书4,指导学生做游戏。
13.复习和总结Grammar Focus。

(教师帮助回答):They are funny/exciting/interesting/sad/scary.
教师板书生词和画线句子,教读。
15.播放录音,要求学生做2a的听力练习,订正。
16.看书la,要学生将图片和能够描述它的形容词一一对应填写在横线上。订正。
17.再播放录音,要求学生做2b的听力练习。订正。
18.(1)要求学生看书2c的阅读,之后提问:

What can he learn from Beijing Opera? (Chinese history)
What kind of stories does he like to read? (sad, funny, exciting stories)

(2)教师板书答案短语,提出短语for the(same)reason, in a word, learn a lot/much/little/a little about讲解sad, funny, exciting是描述性词语。教读。
(3)要学生完成右边的方框中的句子。写出Jung和Edward的不同之处。

教师要求学生做2d的Pair Work,仿照示例谈论自己对电影和戏曲的看法。
20.(1)教师指出刚才同学们的观点看法种都使用了scary,interesting,exciting,funny...形容词,它们是描述性词语(description words),一般出现在be动词的后面或者需要修饰的名词前面。
(2)请学生看书3a,默读并且快速找到描述性的词语,在词语下面画线(great,successful,exciting,boring,interesting,fun)。
21.要学生看书上3b的例子,将方框中的词语填到右边横线上,完成影评。订正。
22.完成书上4的活动。指导学生尝试介绍电影或者京剧的片段给同学。注意使用描述性词语(description words)。

23.给学生1分钟时间小声朗读1方框中的单词,标出有发音困难的词。教师集中帮助学生解决读音难题。
24.让学生以升调、降调齐声朗读所有词语。
25.让学生自己完成第二题。
26.第三题,教师和 可先口头示范。

再要学生观察图片,独立完成句子。每人3句。订正。
生词表:
