1a Presentation
1.利用实物教学in/on/under/behind的意思和用法。
The book is on the desk. The eraser is under the book..
The ruler is in the pencil case.
2..Point to the picture and teach the new words. Ask :What’s in the picture?
What can you see in the picture? Can you name them?
3.Start by asking students to point to each word at the left and repeat them after me
4.After they have said the words, ask them to guess which thing in the picture each word refers to. Work in pairs and check the answers.
5.Ask students to match the words with the objects in the picture by
writing the letters of the objects on the lines next to to the words.
1b.listen and number(1—5) the things in the picture
when you hear.
1.First repeat the name of each word.
2.Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.
3.Listen again and write a number 1 in the box next to the first item mentioned, a 2 in …….. correct the answers.
1c pairwork. make your own conversations.Use the words in the box..and things in the picure.
example: Where’s the pencil case? It’s in the backpack?
Where’s the backpack? It’s under the table.
Where’re the books? They’re on the sofa.
Where’re the keys? They’re on the dresser.
Also make conversations using personal possessions in the classroom setting.. we can use keys, a backpack, a pencil a pencil case and so forth..Place them in, on,under where all students can see them. Then take turns to ask each other.
2a 1.Point to the six pictures and repeat the name of the object in
each picture. Then ask some students to read them.loudly.
2.Play the recording the first time and only listen.
3.Play the recording a second time and write a number.
check the answers.
2b. 1. ask different students to read the number and say the name of
each item in 2a
2.point to the numbers in 2a and you will write these numbers
in the picture in 2b.
3.ask students to look at the picture and point out the boxes
in the picture where students can write in the numbers in order
to show where the items go.
4.play the recording the first time. students listen and
look at the picture.
5.Listen again and write the numbers and check the answers
2c Pairwork, ask and answer questions about the things
in the picture above.examples:
A:Are the books(keys) on the sofa?
B:No,they aren’t. They’re on the chair(table).
A:Is the
baseball on the sofa?
B:No, it isn’t. It’s under the chair.
Have the students repeat.
