Point to the pictures in the text. Say this is Meishan, and that is David Feng. They are students from

reading , ask them read the questions:

She has had the job for two years.
3. Why did she want the job?
Because all she ever wanted to was traveling.
4. How long did she study English?

studied English for five years.
5. What kind of job does Joseph want?
Joseph wants to be a tour guide.
6. Has he ever been to an English-speaking country?
No, he hasn’t.
7. How long has he been studying at the school?
For a year.
8. What other job is he thinking of doing?
He is thinking about becoming an English teacher rather than a tour guide when he graduates.
Ask students to read the passage and answer the questions. Move around the class to give any necessary help.
