Step 1Warming-up
1.Greetings
Good morning , boys and girls .I’m Miss Wang .What’s your name ?Oh !It’s a good name .Nice to meet you !
2.Sing an English song “How are you ?”.I hear you can sing some beautiful English songs very well . Let’s divide the students into two groups and sing an English song first . OK ?
3.Revision
Revise the key
vocabulary and target language in the first period .
T: I like ping pong and basketball . So I like Wang Nan ,Yao Ming and so on .Ask and answer quickly. Ask :What kind of sports do you like ? Do you have a …?Does he /she have a …? Revise ping-pong ball , ping-pong bat ,tennis
racket ,soccer ball , volleyball and basketball .
Step 2 Show the teaching aims and demands on the
screen and read .
Step3 listening
1).Pre-listening
Direct the students look at the names in the pictures carefully and know who they are .
2).While-listening
Task 1: Play the recording for the first time , students only listen . Play the recording for the second time and number the pictures .
3).Pre-listening
Direct the students look at the pictures and know what they are. Then say ,We’ll listen to the conversations again. You are to match the people with the balls .
4).While-listening
Task 2 : Play the recording twice .Listen and match the people with the balls. .
5).Show the conversations on the
screen , read and pair work
Task3: Make new conversations and act . In this step I will give the students some advice .
Step4 : Talking
1).T:I have a nice bedroom . I have a desk ,a bed and some other things in my bedroom .Do you want to know what other things I have in my bedroom .You can guess and ask me :Do you have a …?
2).Introduce Jack’s bedroom :This is Jack’s bedroom. Direct the students to look at the picture of 2c on the
screen .
T: What can you on the floor/bed/desk/ wall? Then ask them to compare this picture to their own bedroom. At last , guide them to use key sentences “Does he have…? ”
Task1: Talk about the picture and compare.
Task 2:Show some pictures about Wang Nan and Zhang Yi’ning and practice “ Do they have …?”
Task3: Have a match by guessing “Does he /she have…Do they have…?”Divide the class into two groups . First look at the pictures once quickly and then owo students come to the front once .One is looking at the
screen and acts according to the picture and the other can’t see the
screen and guess according to his/her action.
Step 5 : Grammar focus
Show the grammar focus on the
screen and read .
Note : “ Don’t ”and “doesn’t” are both contractions. Their full forms are “ do not ”and “does not ”
separately .
Step 6 : Let’s chant
Ping-pong ball , ping-pong ball .Do you have a ping-pong ball? Yes ,I do .Yes ,I do .
Volleyball , volleyball .Do they have a volleyball? No , they don’t .No, they don’t .
