我国有这样一位大文豪：他时常穿着一件朴素的中式长衫，短短的头发刷子似的直竖着，浓密的胡须成一个隶书"一"字......他，就是鲁迅。读了四篇关于鲁迅的文章，我对他有了一个初步的认识。
There was a great man of letters in China. He often wore a plain Chinese robe. His short hair stood up like brushes. His thick moustache looked like a character "一" of the calligraphical style used in Han Dynasty... This great writer is Lu Xun. After reading four articles about Lu Xun, I gradually get familiar with him. 
        他酷爱读书。小时候，晚上夜读寒冷难忍，他便买了几串红辣椒，感到冷时吃下一颗，用这种办法驱寒。有人夸他是文学天才时，他却说："哪里有天才，我只是把别人喝咖啡的时间，用在了读书上。"
He loved reading. Here is an example. Feeling very cold when reading at night as a child, he bought some red chilies and chewed one to get warmed up from time to time. When someone praised him as a genius writer, he only replied, "I am by no means a genius. I only spend the time reading when others are drinking coffee." 
        他关心儿童。在《我的伯父鲁迅先生》一文中，他用风趣幽默的语言巧妙地批评了自己的侄女读书不认真的现象，接着还送了她两本书鼓励她继续学习。鲁迅曾资助过三十多个儿童上学，到各个学校捐赠图书，他尽自己最大的努力帮助更多的孩子，让他们品尝到知识的甘甜。
He cared about children. In the article My Uncle Lu Xun written by his niece, he admonished her frivolous attitude in reading, and gave her two books to encourage her to learn more. Lu Xun had funded more than 30 children to go back to school, and donated books to many schools. He tried his best to help more children to taste the sweetness of knowledge.
        鲁迅为人民可以当牛做马，但是对待敌人却毫不留情。他一生写了很多文章打击敌人，用犀利的言语揭露敌人的恶行，使对方无话可说。敌人疯狂地追捕鲁迅，阻止他的文章发表，但鲁迅以乐观的精神从容面对，从不屈服。
Lu Xun could be servant to the people, but he was ruthless to the enemies. He wrote many articles to attack them. He used sharp words to reveal their evil behaviors and rendered them speechless. The enemies hunted him and tried to prevent his articles from publishing. But Lu Xun faced it with an optimistic spirit. He never gave up.
        鲁迅先生是伟大的文学家，他一生写了很多优秀作品：《呐喊》、《彷徨》、《故事新编》、《朝花夕拾》、《野草》、《故乡》等，不胜枚举。鲁迅还是中国革命史、文学史和思想史上一颗闪亮的启明星，他为中国革命走向胜利做出了不可磨灭的贡献。
Lu Xun is a great writer. He wrote many excellent works, such as Call to Arms, Wandering, Old Tales Retold, Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk, Wild Grass, My Old Home, etc. Lu Xun is a shining morning star in the history of Chinese revolution, literature and thoughts. He is the great one who made indelible contributions to the victory of Chinese revolution.
