从前，有一个叫郭翰的人。一天他躺在自家庭院乘凉。忽然看见一朵白云向他飘过来，云朵上面站着一位白衣女子。
Once upon a time, there was a man named Guo Han. One day, he lay in his courtyard enjoying the cool air. Suddenly he saw a cloud floating overhead. On the cloud there stood a lady in white.
那女子跟他说："我是天上的织女。"郭翰仔细打量，觉得女子身上的衣服漂亮极了，而且发现她的衣服上没有用针线缝过的痕迹。郭翰觉得奇怪，便问那位女子。女子笑笑说："我穿的是天衣，是不需要用针线缝制的。"
The lady told him, "I am the woman weaver of heaven." Guo looked her up and down. He thought her clothes were very pretty and there was no trace that her clothes were sewn with needle and thread. He felt strange and then asked her why. The lady smiled and said, "What I am wearing does not need to be sewn by needle and thread".
