       周末，爸爸带儿子去爬山。
       好不容易爬到了山顶，爸爸对儿子说："看，山下的风景多漂亮啊！"
       儿子说："既然山下的风景很漂亮，那我们爬上来干什么？"

"好不"
        "好不"是一个动词，指的是程度很深。它表达的是一种主观感受，经常用在双音节形容词词的前面，。"好不"也可以说成"好"。它们都表示一种肯定的语气。
好不 is an adverb, indicating the depth of the degree of an adjective. It is usually used in front of bi-syllable adjectives to express an utterance of subjective perception. It can be replaced by "好". They both mean an affirmative utterance. For example: 
        她哭得好不伤心。=她哭得好伤心。
How sad she was when she cried = She was crying sadly.
        他说来又不来，弄得大家好不郁闷！=他说来又不来，弄得大家好郁闷。
He said he would come, but now he didn't. That annoyed everyone. = He said he would come, but didn't. how annoyed he made us.
        快过年了，街上好不热闹！=快过年了，街上好热闹！
The New Year is approaching.How crowded and lively the streets are. = The New Year is approaching. The streets are really crowded and lively. 
 
        但是，需要注意，用在形容词"容易"的前面时，"好不"和"好"都表达否定的意思，例如故事中的：
But, you need to note that, when used in front of adjective "容易", both "好不" and "好" have negative connotations, as the example in the text:
        我好不容易爬到了山顶。=我好容易爬到了山顶。
I tried so hard to climb up the mountain
        两个句子的意思都是"不容易"。
Both sentences mean "不容易".
