Topic: The ever-increasing business and cultural contact between nations has brought more advantages than disadvantages. Discuss。

With the trend of globalization, a multitude of countries have established prevalent and long-term relationship in business and culture, which in return pushes the speed of globalization. It has exerted an enormous impact on the development of all the nations involved.

Needless to say, the ever-increasing business and cultural contact does bring about a wealth of benefits. In terms of growing business contact, a host of countries are dealing business with one another, which constitutes a powerful driving force for both the local economy and the counterpart's economy. Furthermore, with the booming of the commercial activities, people all over world enjoy unprecedented material privilege and can get access to an amazing variety of goods and commodities, which greatly elevates the average living standard of individuals.

When it comes to the cultural contact, the advantages are also all too obvious. The proliferation of diverse exotic cultures colors people's lives by introducing a vast amount of customs and festivals, such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc. Not only we can enjoy the beauty of our own cultural, but also we can reach and sample our global neighbor's. Moreover, the cultural contact also conveys our own culture to a great number of other countries, which largely publicizes and develops our own culture. This can be verified by the increasing number of people overseas learning Chinese and celebrating Chinese traditional festivals.

Nonetheless, every coin has two sides and the ever-increasing business and cultural contact also has its inevitable problems. As with the tighter business relationship with other countries, the domestic economy of one nation becomes more vulnerable to the instability of another trade partner. This can be best illustrated by the financial crisis in America. Speaking of the drawback of cultural contact, we can spontaneously think of the invasion of American culture that awfully shakes our Chinese traditional culture. For example, an ocean of people celebrate western Valentine's Day, but our Chinese lunar Valentine's Day has practically been erased from our mind.

But overall speaking, the ever-increasing business and cultural contact has far more advantages than disadvantages. Thus, we should continue promoting its further development. The most significant thing is to intensify the status of our owe culture and the independence of our economy to eliminate the drawbacks along.
