(CCTV 06-28-2008 15:07)China got off to a convincing start in the FIVB World Grand Prix Hong Kong leg, coming from behind to defeat arch-rivals Cuba in a five-set thriller at the Hong Kong Coliseum on Friday night.
China was in attacking form from the beginning of the match, taking the first set 25-18 easily. But, Cuba fought back strongly in the second , and with the set tied at 25-all, they took two straight points to take it 27-25. Cuba continued their momentum into the third set, taking it 25-21.
But after making adjustments to their lineup, China leveled the score at 2-all after taking the fourth set 25-21. In the decider, China showed their consistency and finally took the set 15-13 and the match 3-2.
