BEIJING, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Bank of America said here on Monday it would exercise its option and purchase 19.58 billion H shares of China Construction Bank from central Huijin.

The exercise price per share will be 1.2 times of the audited net assets value per share on Sept. 30, 2008. The transaction is scheduled to be completed by Nov. 30, 2008.
