Here comes the latest challenge: The recently released 'Giving Pledge' list, which includes billionaires who have pledged to away more than half of their fortunes to charities. Started by Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett, the 'Giving Pledge' could prove to be the next ultra statussymbol for the super rich.

But being wealthy enough and generous enough to get on the Giving Pledge list may quickly become the ultimate badge of status-both in the U.S. and abroad.'

So far, the list has a sizable representation from Wall Street, but there are a few notable investors who haven't taken the Pledge. To be sure, many of the billionaire hedge-fund managers and corporate raiders who are missing are already generous philanthropists. Anyway, here is a breakdown of who from Wall Street is on the list and who isn't:
