MOSCOW, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- A Russian helicopter gunship Mi-24 crashed in the southern region of Saratov and all crewmen died in the accident, Itar-Tass news agency cited a spokesman of the Air Force.

Three crewmembers aboard the military helicopter were killed when it hit the ground Tuesday noon at the Pugachyov airfield on a planned flight, said the spokesman Vladimir Drik.

"The helicopter has burned and the crew are dead," he was quoted as saying, noting that the crash caused no casualty or damage on ground.
