呵呵,当然不是这个意思了.这是个俗语. 先看看英英解释:

汉语里面有个俗语和它很像,就是风马牛不相及. 这么一说应该懂了吧,苹果比橘子根本是两码事,不能放一块比较,简直就是关公战秦琼.
所以compare apples and oranges意思就是把毫不相干的人或物硬凑在一起作比较。
