  华兹华斯诗欣赏:失去的爱

  The Lost Love

             By William Wordsworth

           She dwelt among the untrodden ways

            Beside the springs of Dove;

           A maid whom there were none to praise,

            And very few to love:

           A violet by a mossy stone

            Half hidden from the eye!

           ---Fair as a star, when only one

            Is shining in the sky.

           She lived unknown, and few could know

            When Lucy ceased to be;

           But she is in her grave, and oh,

            The difference to me!

            她居住在白鸽泉水的旁边,

             无人来往的路径通往四面;

            一位姑娘不曾受人称赞,

             也不曾受过别人的爱怜。

            苔藓石旁的一株紫罗兰,

             半藏着没有被人发现!

            美丽得如同天上的星点,

             一颗唯一的星清辉闪闪。

            她生无人知,死也无人唁,

             不知她何时去了人间;

            但她安睡在梦中,哦可怜,

             对于我呵是个地异天变。

             (郭沫若译)
