(CCTV 07-11-2008 13:16)--Forty-two people have been jailed so far for their involvement in the March 14th riot in the capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region.
They were convicted of arson, robbery, disrupting public order and assaulting government offices.
Following the Lhasa violence, police detained over 900 people, including more than 200 who turned themselves in. Among those detained, 116 are under investigation.
