(Xinhua 2008-07-14 13:17:19)--China's cumulative foreign exchange reserve stood at 1.809 trillion U.S. dollars by the end of June, up 35.73 percent year on year, the People's Bank of China, the central bank, announced on Monday.

The foreign exchange reserve increased 11.9 billion U.S. dollars in June, down 28.1 billion U.S. dollars over the same period of last year.

From January to June, China's foreign exchange reserve increased 280.6 billion U.S. dollars, up 14.3 billion U.S. dollars over the first half of 2007.
