Line 1 starts at Beijing Southern Railway Station, and takes in several major historic" title="a.有历史意义的">historic attractions including the Temple of Heaven, Tian'anmen Gate and Jingshan Park. Line 2 begins at Datun, just outside the north fourth ring road, and makes its way past major Olympic venues and facilities including the Olympic Green and the "Bird's Nest" National Stadium.
The tour buses are double-decker and air-conditioned. Designed to carry 58 passengers, they will run at a leisurely" title="a.从容地,慢慢地">leisurely 18 kilometers per hour. Staff on the bus have been trained to introduce scenic spots in both Chinese and English.
