　　R ( Reporter) : Huang Bingbing C (Camper) : Li Ao Bo



　　R: Hi, Ao Bo, I am an editor from ECP(English Coaching Paper). During the winter camp, you got good results in the Speech Competition and the Debate Contest. Would you like to tell me your hobbies and introduce yourself?



　　C: OK! I am Li Ao Bo from NO.2 Middle School, Chi Feng, Inner Mongolia. I am a 15 year-old boy who is always called Brian by my classmates. That's my English name. As a lively boy of the new century I have a lot of hobbies. I like basketball, swimming, soccer, drawing and so on.



　　R: I know you stopped learning English 4 years before Junior school, so how are you able to still get such good results?



　　C: And now I know it was a big mistake. If I had studied English for those 4 years, how would my English be like today? But after those 4 years I even forgot how many letters an alphabet consisted of until one day I met my Junior school teacher Miss Gong. The first day I listened to her English teaching class. Her beautiful voice and vivid English teaching made me have confidence in learning English again. It didn't take long before I found again an interest in English. After that my real English studying journey began. I made a great effort on English and I got the Second Prize in the English Competition in Junior 1 and also in Junior 2. The first prize I got in the English Competition in Junior 3 gave me a great satisfaction. But I never stopped learning English because of the past achievement. I began to recite English texts and remember English words to enlarge my vocabulary. I also read some English papers like "English Coaching Paper" and so on.



　　R: What do you think you gained from this English winter camp?



　　C: This winter is special because I got the opportunity to attend the winter camp which was held by the ECP. This winter camp really helped me a lot. All members came from different parts of China. They all represented the highest level of English study in Middle Schools in China. The winter camp gave all of us a chance to make friends with each other to compete with each other and to learn from each other. When I was in my hometown we hadn't the atmosphere to speak with each other in English every day. But here in the winter camp we had to speak English because that was one of the rules of the winter camp. So in this way our oral English and understanding of English were improved. From the exciting competition we saw the difference in English between each other. From the English Corner we made friends with foreign teachers and we communicated with each other. This made us active and improved our English ability. We learned the difference between the east and the west. We also learned how western students had their classes at school and how their lives were. They are different from ours. So we not only learned English language from the foreign teachers but also got to know the Western culture.



　　R: Do you like "English Coaching Paper"?What do you think you have learned from it?



　　C:"English Coaching Paper" is forever my friend during my long English study. When I have any problems in learning English, I look of them in the"English Coaching Paper".It gives the best and the briefest answers. If some problems can't be solved at one time you can try to look them up in the" English Coaching Paper". It may teach you a special way to remember how to solve the problem. It is not only helpful for your tests but in other respects as well. You can enlarge your vocabulary and improve your skill in speaking English.



　　Till now I still read the "English Coaching Paper". In our school our teacher speaks highly of the Paper. And most of us subscribe it because we all think that it is good to have the"English Coaching Paper"at hand when we study English."English Coaching Paper" also gives the students chances to have English activities like winter camps and summer camps. It can make us connect more to English. And many students in the whole country compete with each other to win prizes. So in this way, all the students gain more confidence and perseverance in learning English. So our English skills will be improved day by day. It is really a good way.
