China's snooker prodigy Ding Junhui blanked opponent Allister Carter 4-0 in the opening round of the Northern Ireland Trophy. Carter is currently the world number 19.
The victory has set up a dream rematch of the China Open final between Ding Junhi and seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry.
The 18-year-old Ding took his first ranking title in Beijing in April when he beat Hendry 9-5 with a scintillating performance, viewed by a massive television audience of over 100million.
The teenager from eastern China's Jiangsu province, a former world under-21 champion, also beat Peter Ebdon, Marco Fu and Ken Doherty on his way to the title.
