Weekend is torture

For bachelors and single girls, weekend is meant to torture. There are always posts all over the BBS calling for people to share the weekend in a bar, go to a dinner, or take dancing lesson together. Of course, the cost would be shared. But could our loneliness and desperation deep in heart really be shared?

When the clock strikes the off work hour, actually hours before the work really finishes, our hearts wonder and our hearts ache. Who would be the one we share the night with? Is she or he good enough for me? Maybe just another freak or nutcase who still haunts our memory, darn it! There are not many choices for lonely people. But I suggest you to buy a good DVD movie and watch it at home. Another good idea is to put what is in your mind and share it here with people as lonely as you.

In spite of what I say, I am not against the idea to go out, but don't get your hope up too high. To socialize is to adventure. There is always a good chance to stumble over a good friend or future life companion before you get "killed". Till then, we should always keep this thought. The world is round and turning, we wouldn't forever stay in a corner forsaken by good luck.
